Another company never showed up so I called Althoff. They sent Jim out to assess and the next day he came out again to repair. Very easy company to deal with. Everyone was on time. Jim was thorough but efficient and explained everything well. Thank you guys!
We've always used Althoff. They set the time within a 2 hour window and usually are ahead of that time frame. The come in do their work, pick up after themselves and are friendly, tell me if there is an issue, etc. and get the job done quickly. I would highly recommend them.
Personally used althoff for years. New AC unit install is top notch. Very professional. Price as quoted. Trane unit performs great and quiet. Great job
All of the technicians are very professional and thorough. They answer all my questions. Each tech uses shoe covers and is always good about clean up.

We bought our home 5 years ago & almost immediately both the AC units went out. My parents used Althoff, so they were the first people we called. We decided to enroll in their white glove membership to be safe (where they come out throughout the year and make sure all your units are running properly, change filters, etc.) but we weren't sure if it was worth the investment.. 5 years later, we have needed to replace our furnace, water heater & filter, plumbing work that wasn't done correctly, and most recently our sump pumps after a storm caused a power outage. We called them at 12:22pm, and Michael Bombick (great guy!) from Althoff was here by 1pm, and replaced BOTH of our sump pumps AND added a back up battery with no extra same day charge, all because of this membership. The amount of money we have actually saved having this membership is astounding, not to mention the life span our new appliances will have given the routine maintenance. We are so grateful for Althoff's consistent and quality care. If you're a new homeowner, I would absolutely recommend!
Our AC stopped working and we called to get a quote from Althoff because we didn't like the quote from our current service provider. Our system was aging and we knew it was time to replace it. We called Althoff for a quote on a new furnace/AC combo. The comfort specialist came out the next day(on a Friday) and gave us options that were reasonable, and we got a new customer discount which was nice. Jeff was very friendly and went through all our options carefully. Once we chose our options, we were all set up for an install on a Monday. They even sent a tech out on Friday to put more refrigerant into our current unit to get us through the weekend AT NO CHARGE to us!
The install day went smoothly, despite them having to rip out and replace a lot of old stuff to install the new system. Techs Braden & Shawn were wonderful people. They put down drop cloths around my home to protect the floors. The work was done with the utmost respect for our home and property, and they left everything cleaner than it was when they got here. The techs were very friendly, yet professional took their time to explain everything to us once everything was installed, and answered all of our questions. Every time I checked in with them when they were working they always answered every question I had. I am very pleased with their service and will call on this company for regular maintenance for our system.
Professional staff who are courteous and very reliable. Jeff Miller was extremely helpful and returned ALL my calls in a timely manner. This company excels in communication with its customers. That in itself today is not common, this company is "old school", integrity is their strong point! They provided all the info I needed to make my decision. I am very happy I chose this company!
Would highly recommend Althoff! We had our annual AC checked and our technician Oliver was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. As always a great job!
