Purchase of a new ac unit or heat pump

The technician was outstanding! He had looked up the repair history for our house before arriving and was aware of our two different a/c systems. The issue was with an a/c air handler suspended in a cramped attic that was seemingly leaking and was causing damage to walls, moulding and wood floors on two floors. He persisted until he found a crack in a pvc elbow, recreated the section (very custom), replaced it and then wrapped insulation around it. He could not have been more professional, informative or effective. Terrific service from start to finish!
My A/C wasn't blowing cool air so I called Althoff and quickly had an appointment scheduled for the next day. The best part? I was alerted as to when my technician, Richard S., was on the way, and I even got to monitor his arrival with Althoff's cool GPS tracker. Richard could not have been more knowledgeable. He promptly diagnosed the issue and explained the next steps. This is the kind of experience I'm looking for as a homeowner whenever an issue arrises. My experience with Althoff was convenient, straight-forward and professional. I know exactly who to call if I'm ever experiencing HVAC issues!
